Does anyone know what happens to a combination of

8 water star + 5 period star + 5 Mountain Star + 5 Annual Star + 5 Day Star

this combo is in the SW1 (WEI) at the facing palace/Main door. immediately outside is a big Koi Pond. this is also a sum of ten house Mountain star + Period Star adds up to ten.

q1: How bad is this combo considering that water 8 is host hence all the 5's are adding strength to 8? or am i wrong to assume this?

q2: is the sum of ten configuration able to overcome such bad influence? is the host guest relationship overpowered by the auspicious configuration?

q3: is adding wind chime enough considering there is a pond constantly moving the Wu Wang?

Hi se7en8ight,

What make you comes up with the theory of the sum of ten with the MS 5 and PS 5?
Do note that there are certain criteria for a house to be considered as a "sum of ten" house.  :)

What makes you assume that the WS 8 is the host while the MS 5 and PS 5 is the guest?  ;)

Hi se7en8ight,
8 is timely and the auspicious energy will help reduce the annual 5’s malevolent energy especially both are earth elements. The 5 Mountain have gone down the water and thus rendered useless.

As karenchantel mentioned, does the sum of ten applies to all the palaces? Any missing sectors?

I don’t see anything wrong with the wind chime (provided it is metal) since the 8 facing star is too strong to be affected by it.

Alvin Chua

hi karen!  :)

thank you so much for always taking interest in my question... you certainly are my noblewoman! LoLs!

1st, the house is Facing Wei (SW1) no missing corners. all palaces have sum of ten with mountain star... it's under construction now and will be finished by mid march.

2nd, i assumed that water 8 is host because this is the facing palace... hehe :P are my assumptions correct? im not sure bout period star being guest though...

Hi alvin!

thanks for responding. :)

yes, all palaces are sum of ten with mountain star and period star. there are no missing corners... it's not a perfect shape there is a slight recess here and there but not big enough to constitute a  missing corner, i think.

the scenario i'm discussing is actually the flying star for next year when 8 is in center... 5 will fly again to SW... i will have a pond in the SW when construction ends this march... will it agitate the anual 5, u think?

Hi se7en8ight,

You're welcome.  :)

There are other sets of rules for a house to be considered as a "sum of ten" house.  :) These set of rules are required in order for a house to the ability to over-rides the "rules" of XKFS.  ;)

MS 5 being the "sitting palace" (坐) is considered a guest to you while WS 8 being the "facing palace" (相) is considered the host?  ;) Actually, MS 5, WS 8 or PS 5 can all be considered as host when we're relating their relationship with the Annual Star.  :P You have to need to know what are you trying to analysis before you take which star as the guest and which as the host.  :)

Hi se7en8ight,

I cannot give you the details of all the condition but do can leave some basic down.  :)

Depending on each master, some would include all while some give a small amount of discount to it...  :)

The time the house was built.
There is the need of the 4 celestial creature in the external.
A uniform square or slight rectangle shape house.
The distribution of the rooms in the whole house.

dont' know about host and guest with flying star but there is a host guest with the 8 mansion.

the host would be the luo shu numbers and the guest the 8 wandering stars.  the luo shu would affect the strength of the 8 wandering stars depending on the element relationship.

Hi MoonChin, please, one question, the time the house was built is considered to plot the chart for the house? so now I have to consider three charts, one is Dipan, two is  Chart by period building house and third is  Period 8 chart?  ~???
