There are several additional pillars in Bazi,apart from the generally used ones.

4 pillar system:

-Year Pillar
-Month Pillar
-Day Pillar
-Hour Pillar

8 Pillar System:

-Year Pillar
-Month Pillar
-Day Pillar
-Hour Pillar
-Conception Pillar or Embryonic Origin (tai yuan),also called the 5^th Pillar
-Embrionic Breath (tai xi),also called the 6^th Pillar
-Pregnancy Pillar (tai yun),also called 7^th Pillar
-Embrionic Year (tai nian),also called 8^th Pillar

There is also the Life Pillar (ming gong)

to be cont.

 

Thank you for sharing the above information.  All this time I have a nagging feeling that why obtain information up to HP when in fact, talking about how Qi afffects a person's life and so forth, why not obtain further or rather, why not the time of conception, surely there is Qi involved too?  I am hoping that further knowledge can be shared... thanking in advance

Thank you for sharing, it is just while reading the basics in the Common Ground section, one post leads to another thread and so forth and here I am... so, I wasn't planning to jump before I learn how to walk ... which is why at the point I wrote the post I was both fascinated and befuddled at the same time.... cheers!
