Here is an update on my current research on the luopan.

Attached herewith is the base of my research on the XK Luopan derivation from the 12 Earthly Branches and the placement of Gua Yun.

After this I would post up my current chart that I have on the 64 Hexagrams with the 60 Jia Zi and the Na Yin patterns.

This is my current chart that I have on the 64 Hexagrams with the 60 Jia Zi and the Na Yin patterns.

There is a Tai Ji pattern of Qian > Dui > Li > Zhen > Xun > Kan > Gen > Kun and that corresponds to the matching of Upper Trigram evolution from Qian to Kun of the Hexagrams.

As of now, a good way to remember these charts is through four combinations, Jia-Ding-Chen-Xu-Si-Hai, Geng-Gui-Chou-Wei-Zi-Wu, Bing-Xin-Chou-Wei-Yin-Shen, and Ren-Yi-Chen-Xu-Mao-You.

Current research is on the matching of these to the 72 dragons and the theory behind the Na Yin. Also, I am looking at the reason behind the lag of Jia Zi sequence in 72 dragons as compared to the Jia Zi sequence in the 64 Hexagrams.

Hi Capriken, I'm confused. Mind explaining a bit, from where i should start to look at the diagram when i want to convert a Jia Zi into a Hexagram?

Would that mena that for example a ding chou day would be correlated to hexagram with dui on top and zhen at the bottom and that the day qi matches somehow with that of this hexagram, thus allowing us to make divination based on this?
