Hi all,

Gradually, I hope to make a Digital Luo Pan that is easy to use. You only need to point out the facing degree of the house, and it will show all the answers
- ling shen and zhen shen (shen's xuan kong and liu fa's)
- ba zhai (sheng qi, fu wei, etc)
- 9 stars method
- water methods
- san he
- all the sha and gods of 12 palaces of each year
... etc

As for uses, I can think of a few.
1. There will be a Legend to list the Name of each ring, This will be good start for beginners to learn about Luo Pan's ring.
2. Perhaps someone will find the Digital Luo Pan a useful tool for teaching feng shui?
3. Use it in a feng shui audit . After you have found out the directions, switch on the laptop, enter the degree, and all the sha, stars, etc is shown.
4. If you don't have the luo pan with you 24/7, you can login anytime anywhere to check for answers.
Any other uses you can think of?

As I have the original program, I can also add a floor plan to the luo pan and save it as swf, and upload it to the forum... hmmm... perhaps I can start a "Floor Plan in Digital Luo Pan" board.

How about you added the ability to add the floor plan inside the digital luo pan with the size that you've recommended to fit the digital luo pan, so that they can easily see the floor plan inside your digital luo pan? I'm getting excited with what you've done, meek. It's a great tool, but it should have the capability to implement it with the floor plan inside. Any other opinion. Tq.

You can read my mind... the thought of allowing user to add their own image has been in my mind. I don't know how to do that, and I don't know if that is possible. At the moment my flash skill is.... no skill. I thought I'd hold that thought while I find out. If that is possible, I planned to announce it as a future surprise. Now we've discussed it, it will still be a surprise if I can ever make that work.

Surprise! I thought it's going to take months for this to come true, so here it is - the luo pan can have floorplan added (by me in the forum only) which user can show, hide, rotate and zoom. I can't make the rings transparent, so the floorplan will have to be on top and be translucent. Looks a bit messy, but that will do for now.
