I was looking at JY's 10,000 years cal. 2009 and 2010, it doesn't have any 31th days, but just checked now looking at Vincent Koh's book (Unveil your destiny)year 2000 it's up to 32 days.

Luo Liang's way to determined the day master strength is different with what is mentioned here.

I will try and translate and put it up here regarding the "earth star" which is one of his 4 sub rule when determining the strength of DM.

In his book, when the month branch let say Si, when has combined with Shen and trigger by a water stem, it is in the season of water. if the day master is wood and water, will take it as season strengthen self and obtain the season.

San He is being read ahead of san hui, and followed by Liu He.
