Hi Stayfi, thanks for the link. I am wondering why there are many "double up"? If they are indeed similar stars, the question is why they are put into different categories?

For example: under "Stars in 2nd grade", star # 21: Fei Lian (Solitary & Harm for parent palace). There is another same named star in "Stars in 3rd grade", star #7: Fei Lian (Solitary). I counted 5 repeated stars, namely: Fei Lian, Xiao Hao, Da Hao, Hua Gai and Xian Chi. Anyone to explain the reason?

Hi Dominique, since I realise this "double up" issue, I re-visit, "Our" original list and I spot the same issue there too. If I cut down the same stars, what is left is exactly 108 stars!  :8). But the link from Stayfi shows some stars that are not in "our" original list. Do you know how many stars are there in total? (I hope you dont mind I call it "our" stars. It is your list but it sounds better as our ::)).

For some of these energies i can maybe give you some answer.
Xiao Hao, Fei Lian, Da Hoa are parts of Lucun cycle or Boshi cycle, very specific energies which are interpreting all the times together.

Hi friends,
I would like complet the post above in this stage of sharing for a better comprehension.

Every year in Zwds you got some particular energies from the branches.

Hua Gai, Xiang Chi, Tian Ma (Thien Ma), Po Sui (Pha Toai), Jie Yin Sha (Kiep Sat).

Year                   Tian Ma
Si, You, Chou =>   Hai
Hai, Mao, Wei =>   Si
Shen, Zi, Chen => Yin
Yin, Wu, Xu =>     Shen

Year                            Po Sui
Zi, Wu, Mao, You =>      Si
Yin, Shen, Si, Hai =>      You
Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei => Chou

Year                      Jie Yin Sha
Si, You, Chou =>     Yin
Hai, Mao, Wei =>     Shen
Yin, Wu, Xu =>        Hai
Shen, Zi, Chen =>    Si

There is also two energies which form another group :

Co Than in vietnamese (Solitude or Gu Shen) and  Qua Tu (Forlon, Gua Su)

Year                 Gu Shen        Gua Su
Hai, Zi, Chou :    Yin               Xu
Yin, Mao, Chen : Si                 Chou
Si, Wu, Wei :      Shen           Chen
Shen, You, Xu :   Hai              Wei

Cheers

Hi friends,
In Year, there are some more energies which are placed clockwise after Tai Tue (Tai Sui) of the branch of the year :

I share these energies with the vietnamese names, please you will refer to the glossary, i dont know them so well in Pinyin.

Example :

Tai Sui => Chou =

Thieu Duong => Yin
Tang Mon => Mao
Thieu Am => Chen
Quan Phu => Si
Tu Phu => Wu
Tue Pha => Wei
Long Duc => Shen
Bach Ho => You
Phuc Duc => Xu
Dieu Khach => Hai
Truc Phu  => Rat

Another important cycle : (12 stages zwds, cycle de longévité)
In vietnamese : 1 Truong Sinh, 2 Môc Duc, 3 Quan Doi, 4 Lâm Quân, 5 Dê Vuong, 6 Suy, 7 Bênh, 8 Tu, 9 Mô, 10 Tuyêt, 11 Thai, 12 Duong

For others energies, we need different calculations. They could form some minor groups, when they are associated to get different meaning to add to major groups. We need to know the place of each energy, the element, the parity...and... So there is Zwds ::).
By chance there is Master Tony Tan to guide us slowly... ~angel
With respect

Try the function search and be patient to navigate in this happy forum.
As i was in "garage", i have trying to surf on the net for research, because i have at this time some questions in suspend, and i have reading here and there from links, then i find some articles from Master Tony Tan about Zwds, then i have feel, it was a good way to continue.

One of the fundamental question : How these three cycles are articulate

Cycle of Jupiter/year
Cycle of Lucun/Boshi
Cycle of Longevity/12 stages

Then it's good to ask questions ~6600 ;D ~smitten
Best regards
Dominique

You could read the beautifull work done, step by step, by Annutara...

http://www.fivearts.net/index.php/topic,2822.0.html

If someone got some answers to my question above, it will be with a lot of pleasure i will read him.
If you need some particular calculation for specific energies, maybe i could help you.

Cycle of Jupiter/year
Cycle of Lucun/Boshi
Cycle of Longevity/12 stages

Hi Dominique,

Although I cannot answer your fundamental question (too deep for me) but my first observation is that:
1. Cycle of Jupiter/year: Jupiter is always at the branch of the current year. For example, in Zi Year, Tai Sui (Jupiter) is at Zi palace. Chou Year; Tai Sui is at Chou palace.
2. Cycle of Lucun/Boshi: Lu Cun is always at the branch that has the dominant year stem. For example, in Jia Year, Lu Cun is at Yin palace. Yi Year, Lu Cun is at Mao palace. Bo Shi is always in the same place as Lu Cun.
3. Cycle of Longevity/12 stages: Longevity always starts where the element is born. For example, for 2nd Water Classification, Longevity is at Shen, 3rd Wood classification, Longevity at Hai, etc.

I agree with you, it would be interesting to know the reason behind this rule.

Hi Again,

Taking on your offer above, could you please show me how to calculate the place for these two stars
1. Treats/Cook = Tian Chu = 天廚
2. Sickness, Illness = Tian Yue = 天月

This question is originally asked by The One at this thread http://www.fivearts.net/index.php/topic,3527.msg46277/topicseen.html#msg46277.

Thanks  :)
