From my past experince, no.5 star was really bad for me when they arrive at my house door(SW) and bed room(NE) during tat year. got knock by it till

I beg your pardon, but how will the different directions be of importance?   I know this sounds terrible, but can flying stars be activated due to sleeping direction?  I understand that it is a body of Qi regulating the space and the quality of Qi can affect one's health and wealth but I cannot understand how sleeping positions affect us?  Please enlighten.

in Flying star, the mountain star (aka sitting star) govern people. sit or sleep behind a good mountain star (assuming the facing star is neutral ) is good.  since SW next year is not good not sure the Annual star will interact with the house chart to give -ve impact.

Ok, the way the star flows to different location annually, should not we concern about the daily and hourly stars too?

I know some use monthly, and daily flying star, but never know anyone really do into the hour as well. only major things like renovation they use up to the daily start. but other may just ignore the daily stay, well maybe it cause some setback but the daily is just a real short term problem.

I see.  I understand better now.  In that case for major issues like operations and signing contracts we look at hourly stars.  I need to re-think about using flying stars now.  Thanks for your information.  One last question: Do we need to avoid Tai Sui and San Sha hours?

Personally i only use year and month flying star, rest i don't really bother and i am new to date selection too so the Tai Sui and San Sha i am not sure.

I assume we can renovate house affected with san sha (renovate the location of san sha, facing san sha, sitting san sha) if there are no one staying.

Can we move in the house facing and sitting san sha?

As far as I understand, there shouldn't be any problem so long you pick a good date to move in, facing or sitting not included.
