Hi Jlim,

I agree with you on the Ji Earth with Hong Yan Sha... I have a few female friends with this config and they are very attractive.... one of them looks like Lin Ching Hsia... But I must say its only face-wise only for Ji Earth with Hong Yan Sha... They are not the sexy type.

Question is then whether Hong Yan Sha refers to attractiveness of face only or both face or body? Sorry if I may sound offending to those who may be offended by what I just mentioned... but all for learning...

BYW, you should get on facebook...Even if not, its OK... we could correspond privately via email....

by the way, i read somewhere about women of Taiyin that

" It is easy for her to fall in love with the man of Mercy Star (Tian Ji). It is because the character of Moon-sweet dream and the spirit of the man can be attracted for each other. "

Can someone give me a Chinese translation for this ?
Some how "character of Moon-sweet dream" seems really weird to me.  :P

Cheers,
RenZi

Tai Yin must be born at night to be termed bright, thus attractive. Usually, ladies with such chart is beautiful esp. if meeting good stars. For males, inherently they have 'softer' features...more sentimental...

Hi All,

If you imagine, out of all 10 HS, Ji Earth is the element closest to the make-up of the human form:

己土属阴,为田地山园之土。《三命通会》
Ji Earth is Yin in nature, it is the earth (soil) of farmland and mountain gardens. (San Ming Tong Hui).

According to the Christian Bible:
"The LORD God formed man out of the clay of the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and so man became a living being."

That's why many of the Ji Earth DM's are good-looking. Note that Wu Earth is quite different from Ji Earth.
But of course other DM's can be good-looking too, for example Lin Ching Hsia mentioned above is Gui DM.

As for body beauty, I think it depends on the interaction of other 10 Gods or elements.
For example Earth DM (Wu or Ji) that has many Water elements tends to be on the heavier side,
just imagine a plot of ground inundated with water, does it not look expanded in form?

ren   wu       ji        gui
zi     wu      wei      hai

my friend not on the heavy side. in fact, i think most guys will consider her attractive.

can someone make a guess at her kind of beauty?

i realise we have been discussing about women and we forgot about guys !
What stars will make a man handsome ?

I think Zi Wei in destiny palace will make for a handsome guy when it is bright.
Inputs, anyone ?

Even more important is the question what is handsome.
What was seen as handsome in ancient China and what is seen as handsome today?
What is seen as handsome in Asia and what is seen as handsome in Europe?

I attached a photo showing a beautiful neck according to the Kayan Lahwi tribe from Burma.
Would you also see this prolonged neck as beautiful?

It has been theorised that the coils originate from the desire to look more attractive by exaggerating sexual dimorphism, as women have more slender necks than men. It has also been suggested that the coils give the women resemblance to a dragon, an important figure in Kayan folklore. The coils might be meant to protect from tiger bites, perhaps literally, but probably symbolically.
Kayan women, when asked, acknowledge these ideas, but often say that their purpose for wearing the rings is cultural identity (one associated with beauty).

hi bzsm,

Are you suggesting that beauty is so subjective that  we cannot see 'physical beauty' in a chart? I have even read posts (elsewhere)that attempts to read the locations of hidden moles in our body....
