Ling Xing + Di Kong

In the The Emperor's Stargate book the author states that Ling Xing and Di Kong stars sitting in sectors opposite of each other has the ability to improve the luck of both sectors. Has anyone heard of this? I haven't found any description of this pattern on the internet...

This is a new one for me. I never heard, but I know harmful star functions as well as damage can also reduce the negative characteristics of the primary star. See for example tan lang meet dikong/dijie can reduce the nature of sexual delinquency tanlang stars.

Did the author give his reasons for the above statement ?

Hi Yulia, the author doesn't say much about it. Here is the paragraph in the book:

The Void's (Di Kong) contradictory streak comes to the fore if met up by Fire (Huo Xing) or Bell (Ling Xing)--either in the same sector, its opposite or at 120-degrees (san fang shi zeng). This pairing-up ignites and initiates an explosive development which will have a tremendous uplifting affect on one's life's work.  Two evils definitely make up a good.

Whether you have to proved that theory?.  I was also intrigued by that theory.

I haven't tried proving it. I see it in my own chart, but haven't seen any transforming or uplifting in my life lol so I don't know if it's true...

Hi 4 Blossoms, welcome back (I saw that other thread)....I also have this combo. Do you have any idea what he means by an uplifting affect? (Like...uplifting from what?..I'm not really sure what to compare it to, I guess).

Hi jellynut, I'm sorry I don't know any more than what is described in The Emperor's Stargate. So far I haven't seen any major transforming effects on my career and marriage sector, where these stars are sitting. I think there may possibly be one incidence that could count as a good transformation. About a few years ago after working dead end job I decided to work with computers instead and was able to find a better job that paid more money. I'm not sure if this counts as a major transforming effect, since this job has become a bit of a dead end as well

Hi 4 Blossoms, my pair is Di Kong + Hou Xing in my destiny palace so I guess the effect should be very obvious but I still don't really know what kinds of experiences to look for.

Just taking a random guess but has your life improved since childhood? Or was childhood a better time? I think Ling Xing + Di Kong creates situations where you're going nowhere and suddenly something changes and things can dramatically improve. For example, maybe you are highly intelligent but dyslexic and felt badly about yourself as a child, but when you got older teachers became more aware of reading disabilities and with the right training you started to excel academically as a teenager. This is just a random example but this is how I think Ling Xing + Di Kong works together based on my own life experience.
